Accounting Business Applications Programs


Dr. Gagik Bakhshyan
Ph.D. Economics

Gagik Bakhshyan is our Accounting Business Applications Lecturer with more than 20 years of experience not only in accounting and accounting software, but also in economics and financial management.

His credentials include a Ph.D. in Economics and a University Diploma in Accounting. He has worked as an associate professor at Yerevan State University, a senior economist at the Center for Economics Policy Research and Analysis/ USAID and a consultant at World Bank.


Mechanical Engineering Programs


Dr. Hui Zhang  
Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering

Dr. Hui Zhang is the Project Manager and Chairman of Engineering Department at North American College. Dr. Hui Zhang is a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Toronto, Canada. He is a Professional Engineer of Ontario with more than twenty years of teaching and work experience in complex mechanical systems design and development.

Dr. Zhang received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in China in 1994. He was an associate professor in Mechanical Engineering at Northeastern University. He also was a visiting scholar at Appalachian State University in North Carolina, USA and research associate at Florida International University, USA. He has written five 3D design tutorial books for SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, SolidEdge, ProEngineer and CATIA. Two of them were published in USA in May 2003. He has been teaching 3D design software in Toronto since 2000.




Prof. Nadeem Ahmad Bhatti
Business Administration Faculty



Faculty of Business Administration is headed by Prof. Nadeem Ahmad Bhatti. Nadeem Bhatti did his Master Degree from Pakistan, post graduation from Australia and is about to finish his PhD from Australia. Bhatti has a vast experience of teaching and training in Business, Marketing, Management and Finance areas in Canada, Australia and Pakistan. He is author of many research articles published in various journals throughout the world. Mr. Bhatti is working with our college since 2002 and has been appreciated by the trainees from all over world. Nadeem Bhatti is expert in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Marketing and other Business related areas.

Mr. Nadeem Bhatti has a vast multicultural exposure. He had been a member of Academic Senate at Flinders University of South Australia. He was elected as President International Students at University of New England, New South Wales, Australia. Before coming to Canada, Mr. Bhatti had been working as Head of the Department at University of the Punjab in Pakistan. He has been a Member Senate at University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan.

He has been executive development trainer with various organizations including Banks, Manufacturing Companies, Airlines, IT Companies, Telecommunication, Health Care and Educational Institutions.



Afsheen Khalil   
Project Manager


Afsheen Khalil is Project Manager at North American College of Information Technology. She has a wealth of experience over a wide range of IT products. She brings a broad experience in the IT industry from a previous jobs as Senior Technology Analyst at Manulife Financial, Toronto; Programmer Analyst, Alpha Plus Center, Toronto; Project Manager, Krosoft Solutions, Pakistan and Assistant Project Manager, Oratech Systems, Pakistan.

She is a Masters in Computer Sciences from Preston University, BA with Majors in Statistics & Economics and Diploma in Computer Sciences, Informatics Computers Institute. She also has certifications in Project Management Professional from New York University, New York, USA, ITIL Foundation Certificate - IT Service Management, Examination Institute for Information Science, Toronto, Canada and Business Analyst Professional, George Washington University, Toronto, Canada.

Marco Pazmino
Internal Auditors ISO/TS 16949



Mr. Marco Pazmino is the instructor for Tool and Die Design at North American College and is also a Senior Foreman at Warren Industries in Toronto. He has more than thirty years of experience in building, repair, modify and maintain dies, gigs and fixtures. He has created many programs for "Tool and Die Apprentices" while working at Autoteck Industries in Mexico.

Mr. Pazmino, completed his training from George Brown College and later participated in many professional development program including "Effective Management" and "Internal Auditors ISO/TS 16949"







Civil Engineering Programs


Haki Alganabi (P.Eng )
BE Civil Engineering


Mr. Haki Alganabi P.Eng is civil instructor at North American College and is also a Senior Civil Engineer in BSG Consulting Engineers, Toronto, Canada. He is a Professional Engineer in Ontario with more than twenty-five years of teaching and work experience in designing, supervising and managing industrial, residential and transportation projects.

Mr. Alganabi is an experienced instructor who developed new ways to approach and understand the construction industry. He always brings to his students the latest ideas, technology, and procedures that are required and observed in the construction market and in the industry.

Mr. Alganabi received his degree in Civil Engineering from University of Mosul in 1979. In 1983 he accomplished his first research in Concrete rehabilitation which changed the national code followed by many researches in pavement design and material technology. This has thus allowed him to add two Diplomas to his profile. In 1986 he worked as an associate Civil Engineering Professor at Babylon Technical Institute, then as a senior project manager in many international projects funded by the united nations. Following this he also worked with many consulting companies in Toronto such as Earthonics Engineering, Terraprobe Consulting Engineers, Peto-MacCallum Consulting Engineers, and as a Vice President with GET Engineering. Since 2003 he holds the position of Manager with BSG Consulting Engineers, which offers specialized engineering services in Canada. During his long years of site and office experience he was involved in most of the big projects in the city of Toronto and the surrounding areas such as the new terminal building at Pearson International airport, Provincial Highways and bridges, high-rise buildings, new subdivisions and residential units in addition to his work on many historical buildings in Ontario.


Afzal Dhanji
BCOMM, MCP, MCSE, MCSA, A+, OCP, CCNA and CCNP


Mr. Afzal Dhanji is our IT instructor who is certified as a MCP, MCSE, MCSA, A+, OCP, CCNA and CCNP. Afzal Dhanji is not only a qualified IT professional with certifications in Microsoft, Cisco and Oracle; he also has many years of teaching experience in this field. Afzal brings to our classrooms immense real world I.T. experiences and case studies to help students understand the challenges they will face during their transition into the I.T. job world. Some of his major projects include developing industry standards and best practices, developing best methodologies to provide enterprise clients with complex solutions, designing standard operating procedures for all IT environments.

Mr. Dhanji received his BCOMM degree from Ryerson University in Toronto. Microsoft Canada has acknowledged Afzal’s brilliant presentation and technical skills; Afzal has been designated the role of a Sharepoint Architect by Microsoft Canada by working though their partner Getronics Canada. He currently works as Solutions Architect with a Global Company. Afzal has helped a large number of students acquire certifications and successfully land in their field.





Amir Rashid
Bachelor of Architecture


Mr. Amir Rashid is Bachelor of Architecture from National College of Arts, Lahore and a certified Instructor for Ontario Building Code, Home Inspection, Timberline and primavera. He has more than nine years of experience with international Architectural design companies in Asia and North America. An active Member of Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planner and Member of Architects in Capital Development Authority.

He has broad knowledge of preparation of building details and working drawings. He has prepared several proposals and detailed design for residential, Institutional and commercial sector, conducted many feasibility studies, economic analysis and environmental impact investigation.

Worked on research and development project for Aga Khan program for Self Help school construction in the northern areas. He also worked on many projects in Toronto such as Leisureworld Caregiving Centre, Lanark Long Term Care Facility, Leisureworld Caregiving Centre in Richmond Hill, Craiglee Long Term Care Facility, and The Royal Oak L.T.C.F.
